Top Ethics Resources
Surprisingly enough it is very difficult to find a great online community surrounding engineering. After an unsuccessful search I simply assumed one did not exits. However, and surprisingly, there are numerous resources concerning ethics. In that spirit, I have put together a list of some of my favorite and most useful ethics based resources. Some are blogs, some are educational institutions, some are both. All are great so take a peek and enjoy.
Online Ethics Center
A great resource and electronic repository of ethical case studies. The site is aimed at scientists, engineers, teachers, professors and students. There is also a vibrant forum within the site that is full of great and educated opinions. One of a kind on the net.
Engineering Ethics Blog
A great ethical blog publishing articles since 2006. The author has spent time in industry as a consulting engineering but teaches engineering courses at the Texas State University currently. Definitely check out this great article on methanol and your vehicle.
Texas A&M Civil Engineering: Ethics
The fine people seem to be the gold standard when it comes to a collection of useful material. Including Case Studies, Work Shops, Essays, Other Resources, Guest Contributions and run by a great gent named Lee.
Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University: Ethics In Science
This site includes a short collection but the content is very applicable and insightful.
